My dear friends: It's getting colder in Canada and my thoughts are wandering to warmer climes. On January 12/2010, I fly to Managua, Nicaragua and then work my way north ending up in Cancun, Mexico. From there, I fly to join many members of the Gaudun family in Daytona Beach. If you would rather not get notifications of my travel blogs just send a brief "no thank you" to this travelpod . No problem. Hasta la vista baby. Steve
Dundas, Ontario, Canada sgaudun... to adequate food, water and many pleasures in life that East African women will never know. Sure, I have my own problems - a result of North American life - but compared to how some people live on a global scale, I've got it extremely good. So do we all.

So, Thank you. Thank you for giving me this new perspective in life. I hope to use it for the greater good, as best I can.

I suppose this is the end of a Chapter - one that will remain ...
Burlington, Ontario, Canada ebowley... all I ended up taking some great pictures of the city and deciding it was worth the money. I then walked back to Eaton Centre to check out the mecca of North American shopping (besides Mall of America of course) I was blown away by the 5 floors of mostly stores I recognized. People were everywhere and it reminded me of being in Times Square in NYC because of the lighting outside. I found the A&F before the Hollister. I walked in & didn't get a tag-line. I couldn't believe ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada amandafdt... pulled back the curtain. Kind of weird. Oh, and how's this for taking advantage of time off?!? Thinking several days at the end of Celtic Thunder in Chicago (perfect since it ends there), then a week in Mexico early Jan and then at least a month (hopefully 2 or 3!!!) in Europe in the spring?!?!??!!! Is this really my life??????????????? Blessed, blessed, blessed. Love you all (whoever out there that may still be tuning into my little blog) Andrea
Toronto, Ontario, Canada adivine3... me prep some things. My mom is buying some food and some little things like advil and sunscreen and my bro has been awesome about picking up my visa from the embassy and malaria pills. I'm hoping the stress of all the other stuff will finish soon so I can enjoy these last few days in Canada. Why is it so cold in Toronto this June? I don't know... :) Ela
Toronto, Ontario, Canada ela_pagacz... 1mph. The Finacial District of Toronto from the CN Tower In the evening a group of us from the hostel went to the comedy club, Second City. Toronto, Ontario, Canada sd0744... and finally have all the major parts made and ready to be assembled. It is made from fibreglass, with a small amount of carbon fibre (Dan and my other pilot buddies, check out the pictures.) It will seat two (very comfortably - it is by far the biggest 2 seat aircraft I have ever seen - and I have flown several types. I sat inside the completed fuselage and had miles of headroom. I'm 6 feet tall, so that is saying a lot.) This aircraft ...
Burlington, Ontario, Canada where2now... decided that I would at least book my first night in Dublin since I didn't plan on going anywhere the first day. Well, turns out weekends get filled quickly in Dublin. I bet young people from the country come for the nightlife and crash at a hostel. I've seen that before. Anyway, so I found a booking for Friday night and have booked for Saturday and Sunday night in Cork since the city was booked solid on Saturday night. Note to self: try to get back to Dublin on a ...

Toronto, Ontario, Canada berutoran... is a popular Canadian lager/ale. I have to say, Canadian beer and lager has to be my favourite so far, including Molson Canadian, Kokanee, Labbats Ice and the really cheap Lucky beer (trust me, if you drink this stuff, you ain't gonna get Lucky!) and really strong Wilcat beer (at 8.5% they should have called it Onecandan, there was also Wilcat Ice at 13.5%!) Appart from the beer, my favourite things about Toronto was free stand-up comedy ...
