We got what I am classing as half a critter – Peg spotted an armadillo right at the entrance to a side road; unfortunately it was dead. We are counting it as we had not seen one on this trip and it was still whole and recognizable.

The show consisted of a variety of horse acts including roman riders, trick riders, a variation on barrel racing, buckboard races, a square dance on horseback; and a great finale of flags and lights that got very complicated when they had a power outage in the middle.
