    ... before we leave France. On the train 3 minutes before it is to leave with a carriage a third empty, lots in the line behind us. The train departs 17 minutes late which we are told by our fellow travellers is most unusual so this ensures we will already be pushing it up hill to meet our forward travel plans and we have not left the Paris train station as yet.     ... Dam just to stretch our legs a bit, as we walked back to the car I found a wooden carving of a hand just lying on a stone!! I looked around for the rest of the body it was part of, no sight of it! It seemed planted in front of me saying, I'm here as a memento of your epic trip, it reminded me of the man on the side of the road selling the wooden sculptures on one of our very first days.     ... on my Dad's side. We grew up together but when she left for London and me to Australia, we had never met again due to the different holidays. We also lost touch sadly. So I was quite excited to be catching up with her and meeting her husband and kids. We arrived at her beautiful renovated home in Chorleywood.     ... colleague for literally 10 seconds and having a crazy lady SCREAM in my face; she demanded my full attention. Apart from that, its been lovely and I miss the people already.

    Alas, that part of my life is over for now...These are the things I will miss the most, apart from the obvious friends and family.
