          ... fun and games began. We realise that one of our cases of hand luggage does not quite fit into the Easyjet gauge and we may have a problem. Nick then sets about trying to remove the wheels by jumping on it. We have now become the live entertainment for all the bored and half asleep Easyjet passengers- great! Eventually an airport employee comes to our rescue and takes Nick off to remove the wheels with wire ...

          ... the creature shop, where all the Harry Potter creatures were made like the Mandrake plants and Aragog and Buckbeak and Fawkes.
          Diagon Alley was my favourite bit. We saw Fred and Georges shop, and Olivanders wand shop and the Leaky Cauldron.
          The last thing was an amazing model of the Hogwarts castle, which was huge.
          Amber and I tried Butterbeer - it tasted like sparkling orange juice with foam.

          ... years, Jackie, Sarah and I flatted together back in 1979-83. Now with two beautiful daughters who are both taller than her and going through GCSE themselves this week. Sarratt is a lovely little village complete with village green, post office and more pubs than is necessary. In fact I can see no evidence yet of the decrease in the number of pubs from what I remember.

          ... and you have a seat number? I sat and watched the poor air stewardess shouting at people to get in a queue, it was madness. All the flights I have been on and I have never seen anything like it. I realise this was a gentle warm up to the start to my India experience.

          The curry on the flight was delicious. I didn't sleep all through the night as I was so excited to get to Nepal - I was wide awake with a little grin on my face.

          ... mid range hotel previously called Jen Hotel, now renamed Traders Hong Kong in Central Hong Kong Island. I land on Friday, Jasmin advised me to try not to sleep on the plane. 12 and a half hours straight taking off at 22:30. Its unlikely I will do the whole stretch without a little shut eye.
