I also went into their visitor centre. They have gone to a lot of trouble to make the valley accessible with walking trails and bits fenced off for safety. I also noticed one part was a designated rock climbing area, with a request for 'no fouling'. I presume they mean dogs?

It may be a holiday for the school kids and government employees, but it evidently was not for the construction crew that woke us up early by unloading a truck of building materials at the neighbor's house at 7:00 this morning. So we were up early and had time to spend with Elaine and the boys, Drew and Aaron, before we had to leave for the airport.
