... So go return for 566, which is what I planned for.

Have booked into a nice hotel for my 1st 4 nights, in a quiet part of Thamel district in Kathmandu, so I can eat in the cafes, but get some sleep at night. They will pick me up from the airport too.

Need to book flight to Nepalganj next, and decide which Safari Resort to stay at ...

Monday January 26th This Wednesday was supposed to be the day we set off on our big adventure and took the Chunnel to France and beyond. That's what we were supposed to do, but our car broke down big style at the end of last week throwing our plans into disarray. ... one with a moat around it, it was quite a pretty fairy tale one. While here I managed to get Matt to buy me a Scottish cookbook too. We then began our way to Barnsley, sadly crossing the Scottish border back into England. The evening was spent watching telly with the family and sleeping in a proper bed! ---> Scotland surprised us. I didn't think it was going to feel like going into another country with it being attached ...

Day one - Our journey in Peter-Pat begins

A travel blog entry by lets.get.lost on Apr 24, 2014

Since being back from India we have been non-stop. We have had no home to come back to but have been 'taken in' by our lovely friends and family. We have enjoyed catching up with friends, I had a minor operation, went to the Bath races (won nothing!), and spent a lot of time preparing for our big 3 month journey in our camper named Peter-Pat. We have spent the last few days with our ...
