... own chariot these days. I must say it is a very nice car especially compared to some of the beaters they loan you at the marinas. Can you believe this car doesn't even need a key for the ignition! What will they think of next? My own car is ten years old and does not even have a connection for an IPOD so I am not used to such new fangled technology. ... be seen again!!! Not the case at all, we meet Jacobs roomie Gabe, who is a high jumper and stands about 6'2 and he has been known to jump about 197cm. Fair jump!!!!! Gabe is nice bloke and both he and Jacob show us around the room. I mean its a quick tour, we basically stand in the middle of the room, look to the left, then to the right, in front, then behind and we are done!! ... Plus it gave us practice finding our way when we get lost. We cruised by the Watt's Bar reactors. They are an impressive sight.

Probably the highlight of my day was seeing a couple of Sandhill Cranes tarrying on an island in the Hiwassee Wildlife Sanctuary. I understand it is unusual to see them so late in the year in this area. We did encounter some wind but our bimini was not down so we were not intimidated. ... a deer swimming across the lake. Poor thing was being followed by a fisherman in his boat but the fisherman finally let the deer swim in peace. Bart was no doubt thrilled with his romantic gift of an electric fish knife and metal glove. Oh the good times he will h have hacking away at the fish we catch. All in all, the second day of our journey was a good one with smooth cruising all around.
