    12F when we awoke can't imagine what 75F even feels like any more. Packed up the car and headed to the airport with our car and house sitter Miss Elizabeth in tow. Our flight was delayed slightly by de-icing however we were soon in the air and heading to warmer climates. Checked in at the hotel (bags all arrived!) ...

    ... Jamestown and visit Slice of Heaven bakery. There we had a trail mix scone (very interesting but maybe too filling for what we were seeking) and a carrot cake I will rave about for years. I am picky about carrot cake to the point that I rarely order it. Wow this was good and reasonably priced at about $5 for a large squate.     After my morning coffee, I sat down and carried on with my day. Come 12 o clock, my mom comes home, my ears perk up like a little cat, because I know she will check the mail on her way inside.
