... and you need a proper tripod). The lady in the store tells us of some of the pics in the shop and she mentioned that the light in Horseshoe Bend is nice during the day so we go back to take some pics.

Its a bit of a walk when we get there, you go up a sandy hill then down a rocky path to the end of the trail. The scene that awaits you is stunning. The horseshoe bend is a sandstone structure where the Colorado river runs a permanent ring around ...

Just a boy on a bike...

... elite category at anything. Not many of us are. In my mind, I'm just a boy on a bike chasing yet another dream. My hope is to show that sometimes those dreams can be caught.

Find your own special dream in your Heart and chase it with everything you have. Expect obstacles. Mountainous ones. They will be there. Do whatever it takes to go over, around or through them and persevere with all your might till the very end.

Full day in Page

... ready for a three hour lake cruise in the rain. I think it is time for a cocktail. Page is a "country" town. It was founded in 1957 (to support the workers for the dam) so really it isn't that old. In the couple of days that we have been here, we have become very familiar with the laundromat, the car wash, the golf course (didn't play, just kept driving pass), the supermarket, ...

Lashed us all with sand and tumbleweed. The guy next to ...

    What's that smell

View was great, and price, but there was a definite 'poopy' smell in the room. Everything looked OK, bathroom smelt deodorized, so we figured we'd just go with it. Until my wife lifted the toilet seat...
...found out what was causing the smell.
Don't know who left it, but cleaning staff sure didn't find/flush it!
