DAY 2 - Biloxi MS
... flat screen TV - all for only $59.47. Had another delicious meal at Cracker Barrel at a price al lot better than Shari's at home, with far better food. Seems like that the last time we were in this part of the country, C-B prices were rather high - but no more !
Will try our luck with another Days Inn in Baytown TX tomorrow night.

Nous voici au Mississipi à Biloxi. Il n'y a pas seulement à New Orleans que Katrina a fait des ravages. Ici aussi. Auparavant, il y avait des casinos flottants. Ils ont été détruits ou déplacés par l'ouragan. Michel était venu il y a 15 ans, et il ne reconnait pas les lieux. Ils ont construits de gros casinos sur la terre ferme. Toujours chanceux côté météo, 27o et du soleil. nous profiterons de la plage de Biloxi quelques ...

... plan is om vandaag direct naar de Golfkust te rijden en daarna hard bakboord richting Florida.
Wel trekken we nog even tijd uit voor een stukje trainen en belanden bij de enige MMA-club in Mississippi, de 'Alan Becher MMA Club'. We worden er hartelijk ontvangen en werken een pittige training af. Morgen richting het oosten, naar de Atlantic.

We headed back to the hotel and slept. It had been a weird
old day with the tire issue, longer journey’s than we’d planned and too much
sun... We needed our sleep; tomorrow ...
Something had to go wrong...

believe our postcode was their equivalent to a zip and she asked Dave twice if
he was sure that was definitely his phone number as it looked ‘weird’ to her. The
job got done in super fast time and he assured us we’d be safe driving to
Mobile on the spare as long as we stayed at 55mph.
