I had specifically planned our flight schedule so that we would arrive early in the day and leave later in the afternoon, that way Sandra wouldn't have to wake up early to drop us off at the airport. Sandra and Alicia packed us and our luggage up and drove us to Leon so we could catch our flight out at 2 pm. Many consulates will allow students to mail in their information to receive a visa, but unfortunately mine did not. They required that I present the information in person so that I could prove that I really was the person I claimed to be. This entire process ...
