Nearing dinnertime, we did a bit of exploring the shops on the Magnificent Mile - Hersheys World and the Water Tower Place mall. For the most part, we're not shoppers, so spent little time here, there are a few Starbucks around, so you can always people watch if you want.

For an international flight, I'm surprised at how little security there was. Didn't have to take out my meds, didn't have to take out liquids, laptop, nothing. They just sent it through and that was that. Now, when you travel, people recommend that you travel in layers. It sounds like a great ...

... etc. When we left two hours later, we watched the bartenders use eye droppers and other micro-measuring tools to follow recipes to an exact degree, all seemed to have different roles - as you would see in an open restaurant kitchen. We walked the short distance from the cocktail lounge to Publican; we were in the middle of what is known as 'the meat packing district' and although the stockyards are no longer here there is obviously still a lot of cold storage being ...
