... We go early to catch the museum/heritage centre and run into a small festival. Max is well away when you can pull the rope for the bell on the old steam engine and ride the oil drum train as well as get up close as a 100 car freight train goes by.
Our train ride goes smoothly and is actually early in Fort Worth & Dallas. Maybe not surprisingly, we get the same coach attendant as on the way done - her name tag read T. Booker, so Booker T it was.
... br> Sunday sees us out for 'real' food/vegetables in Walmart & 'proper' coffee while Meredyth takes the kids to Sunday School. In the afternoon Meredyth takes us up into the 'Hills' (it's all relative) via a nice Winery and to the Canyon of the Eagles where we stay overnight - after rampaging through Pizza Hut.
This is wild flower season so lots of Blue Bonnetts as the photos show.

... amp; Linda are full-timers, and right now Jim & Laura are full-timers (they have their son & family living in their house for a while). Cedar Breaks is a very nice place to spend some time. You meet some very nice people.
Tomorrow we plan to go to breakfast at Sirloin Stockade for breakfast and then I'm going to attend the 11:00 service at the Georgetown First United Methodist Church.
... was broken into last night. The thieves broke into several RV's ripping out TVs and microwaves. Then they stole a MH belonging to a Canadian couple. So much for feeling safe because they have 24 security cameras throughout the facility and have a guard 24 hours a day. Bob can't figure out how they drove the MH out since the article didn't mention the gate being broken. Did they have a code? Was it someone who has a space in the storage facility or ...
... started out fairly early. Mike and Rose had to leave about 8 am. They sing in their church choir and for Catholics, this is a Holy Day of Obligation and the choir was singing. So after they left, we just stuck around "G/G".
