... floods and devastation. A lot has happened while we've been away but we have been proud of the way our state has rebounded and are moving forward.

We're excited to be getting home tomorrow. We’ve been very fortunate through all our travels and have enjoyed sharing our adventures with our friends and family. We’re glad I wrote the blog because it’s already hard to remember some of the names of places we’ve been!

A long day of travel but I made it! Knoxville through Chicago to Newark. I waited about an hour for Claudia to arrive but then we scouted about the airport and shared a pizza for dinner. The restaurant had bubble lights which made us think of Carolyn building her house! Plane boarding and departure were on time and we were flying across the Atlantic. I slept a little though I do not do well sleeping on planes. About 9 hours later we arrived ...

... just watching traffic go by. WHAT? That is positively bizarre behaviour! And if that isn't enough punishment, Jude and I treat ourselves to some more! We spy a diner, stop and gather our courage, and head in to explore options. It is rather late by this time so it is a little late thus we both decide to go puddings. I figure I can walk it off afterwards. I was not exactly prepared to receive what came out of the kitchen! That being said, ...

          Camino here I come!!!

... two or three notices in one day) OR I will be exhausted and want to sleep and not take the time to blog OR I am having WAY to much FUN to take the time to sit down and write~ LOL. I am sending this out to family and friends who I feel would have an interest~ feel free to share if you like. I'm not sure if once you receive this you check back for new posts or if you'll receive a notice everytime I publish~ so you may need to figure that part ...

We ended up stopping for the night at
Glasgow Walmart which is only half an hour to the Cave we want to
tour tomorrow. Not the best nights sleep, a 30 year old man was using
the nearly empty Walmart carpark as his personal race track. He had a
large radio controlled jeep that he was driving at like 70kms and it
made a charming roar as it raced around. Headed to sleep once that
stopped around 11pm. Ah, the joys of camping at Walmart!
