      My first day here in Western Australia. It had a slow start, having a late breakfast with Diane, and then chilling out and chatting!!!!!. Eventually we drove to town to Woolworths for grocery shopping and various other things. Very hot but with a lovely breeze.       This afternoon I went to the Birmingham Christmas markets with Angus, Becka, Suzannah and Alistair. On arrival we got a cup of mulled wine and a German sausage. This German sausage was 1/2 a metre long and it was delicious! With warm food in our tums we ventured off around the markets. There were so many stalls selling cool stuff.       ... vouchers for the shuttle bus there and back.

      So we caught the shuttle bus and finally got into the hotel around 11pm. Lots of renovations seemed to be happening in it but we got a lovely room which looks straight out onto one of the main runways so we can lie in bed and watch the planes taking off and landing but since the rooms appear to be soundproofed there's no noise.

      Security was a breeze and we then headed straight to "Rhubarb" for a light breakfast. Helen then headed off to the duty free with Credit card and Boarding pass on hand.
