... a snaking queue of locals and tourist to enter. We line up, pay our 20 quid each and we are in, as is the other 10000 people. It's quite an amazing place, lots of exhibitors, some in tents, some in the open and a hall called the Epic Centre. Lones gets coffee, I start looking, and a little buying. ... for a walk. Lincoln is a great town/city, lots of character. Tonight we caught up with Nikki and Chris. Leonie met Nikki whilst cycling China, and heard on facebook we were in the neighbourhood and suggested dinner (see stalk book has other uses). Dinner was at a fabulous little restaurant Browns Pie Shop. Good English fare, pints of beer and a bottle of chianti. Home, in bed early and getting ready for the antique fair ...
... Commercial Manager for his favorite football club which incidentally in only 3 mins walk away. He secured tickets for us all plus a few extras in the family area to see the Good Friday match between Forest and Wolves. So we donned supporters gear and headed off to the match with the other 27,000 supporters! Quite an experience - although "we" lost 2-1 unfortunately. "Come on you REDS!"

This years national is at the Blevoir castle in Leicestershire. We arrived after long sessions of rain and the wind was very strong. Cars were getting stuck in the muddy field. We had no problem with my brand new Freelander 2. First time with the new end closure for the awning. Took an age to assemble because of the wind and not knowing how it went together.
