    Woke up Friday morning to cloud. With the air con on it felt like a cold grey day in the UK. However when I stepped outside at 6am it was still 30 degrees!! Within an hour the cloud had gone and the sun came up, to amazing views of the keys from our bedroom balcony. This was one of the days we had all been looking forward to the most.     We both did that starting about a month before the trip, but don't really know if it made a difference or not. The hotels at elevation all did have oxygen available, and there are prescription medications that can help altitude sickness as well.
