We're on the road, starting the first stretch of our trip! It is hard to leave home, but we are looking forward to all of the adventures to come. Car is packed to maximum capacity (with still being able to see out of the windows, of course). Bruce woke me up at 644 hours with breakfast in bed.....ulterior motive he was getting "hitch-itch" our term for let's go rv'ing again. ... I had a headache and a sore throat by then.
I'm not sure what time we landed, but by the time we got our luggage, went through customs, drove to the resort, checked in - it was 2 AM!!!!!! I was up for 24 hours straight which is not healthy at my age. I was a wreck. I just wanted to lie down and sleep.
Since we already had the seminar planned for the next morning at the airport, they told us we could sleep in to 10 AM!
