    ... amazed by the competence, or lack of, of the general population. Today was no exception. A few near misses and a bump (none involving us thank goodness) and a huge number of semis, as usual. The speed the semis travel at is somewhat concerning and the photo is of a 'house' moving at the speed of 100kms+.     ... would be around 25 degrees Centigrade in Nicaragua but in Atlanta it was snowing! It made everything look very pretty. Once we were through the airport hassle, it was so nice to get a glimpse of this part of the world. And staying in someone's home is always a great cultural experience.

    Because we left late, we arrived a little late, which was ok because we had a pretty long layover anyway.

    We had to go through Passport Check and Customs since this was our entry point back into the U.S. It went pretty smoothly.
