    ... I'm close to town this time too! Last trip, I stayed on the far end of the island and although it is quieter up on the North end, it's also very remote.

    So, for now, I wait. And wait, and wait and wait! Confirmation in hand, contract in the mail and list of items to get started!!

    ... spend Thanksgiving with them but we have been making good time while travelling so we decided to come a couple weeks early and then make our way back to the coast before it got too cold. We arrived at their place at around 3pm and it was a nice family reunion along with a great welcome from Luna, their amazing Doberman doggy. It was nice to relax on a couch and get a real shower in.     ... hills, auburn leaves and some stunning mountain peaks.

    Once arriving at the farm we hopped onto the back of tractor trailer and were towed around the fields, weaving between livestock, hay bails and pumpkins. We chose the pumpkin from the field and hopped back aboard.

    We were all tired so headed home for an early night.

    It was a late start out of Langley AFB because we had to load the truck, van, and car for the trip. Then we had to check out of temporary lodging and clear housing. It was almost 10:30 when we got on the interstate and headed west.

    ... we had to stop coz it was raining so hard was so hard we couldn't see where we were going We stopped at this little hotel and they gave us free coffee and let us use the restroom, they were so lovely. Off to get something to eat then on to Nashville tomorrow baby!!! Love and miss you all loads ...
