AFRICA IS BEYOND AMAZING!!!

I have done so much since I got here already! We visited the first mosque and the first catholic church in Tanzania the other day which was absolutely fascinating! The first mosque called the Kaole Ruins, was at the first Port and is now ruins but it is very cool to see! The old port is now full of mangroves due to lack of use! ... we could even finish the ones we were working on.

After we ate, he took us outside his house and showed us the tree he climbs to retrieve his coconuts. He even showed us how he got up, by looping a rope around his bare feet and shimmying up the tree. It was rather impressive. He then walked us over to his cows that he owns and gets his milk from, which he then sells in the village. One of the calves was just 2 weeks old! It was so cute.
