Ran again this morning and decided earlier is better for several reasons. The weekday traffic on weekdays is greater. Winding roads with muchos potholes. So we run facing oncoming (most of the time) but no guarantee that vehicle will still in that "lane"..the swerving slalom course they take is erraticYou can gesture to move over a bit but if someone is coming the other way or potholes imminent???and since they are all headed to work, I reckon they only have ...

... out in front here are enough to warrant buying my own snorkel gear.There is a bit of a reef not too far out but there is also a great deal of boat traffic in close.Water taxis zip back and forth between West End and West Bay. If you sit at the end of the dock and wave they will pick you up and spare you the 30 minute walk for $3.The volume of boat traffic means you need to mark your snorkeling presence in an obvious manner. More observation needed for that. Until next time...

... of the pen. There are 3 kids on each team and they have 45 seconds maximum to catch and mount the pony. The rider must stay on the pony for 2 jumps for their time to qualify. Whichever team has the lowest time is the winner. I think this competition reminds me of my horse riding experiences as a youth.

... have a 'pusher' engine in the middle and 2 engines at the head....
a train that had a recent collision was pulling a total weight of 177,000 tons!! - travelling about 4km an hour (it was 'switching') the accident was worth about 25million - crew was fired on the spot --- what did I say in a small town everybody knows everything thats 'going' on!!!
