... the Halloween costumes. I am AMAZED at the effort some people were putting in, awesome costumes- I had one of the most surreal skytrain experiences. As I stepped on the train, I was confronted with a man painted entirely red. I looked to my right, and saw people dressed as demons, to my left I had the option of sitting next to the joker from Batman or a beer can. Later we came across Elvis, Bert and Ernie, a cardboard box and a rug amongst other things ...

Red Deer, Alberta, Canada bdtravels... race around 2 barrels before going around the racetrack. Lots of fun to watch.<br>Also went to the Reynolds Museum in Wetaskawan (you'll be proud of me Paul, finally got that right) with Paul and Darlene on their 40th wedding anniversary. It was a great museum, and we got dressed up in fliers gear and had our photos taken with an old airplane. It was a fun day. Also went to Drumheller to the Dinosaur Museum there ...
Clive, Alberta, Canada robynanddavidIn our quest for the library, we stumbled upon the most beautiful city gardens! What a find in a roundabout way! Since Senica has a broken toe we cannot walk all over the town. I love how we found the highlights just a few blocks from the bus station!
Red Deer, Alberta, Canada lolly... but the temperature this morning was -36C with a strong breeze that dropped the wind chill to a crushing -47C; brrrrr. The snow fell most of the night and I had to shovel through drifts as deep as 40 cm. Still the weather didn't stop me from walking into town for my dental appointment this morning

Olds, Alberta, Canada seppRed Deer - Cowboy country. We stopped here to visit Terri and Jason, friend's of Stacey's - and to get us a little closer to home. Well we were expecting a rather quite night but it was far from that. We went to a bar called 'Billy Bobs' a country and western type bar. It was brilliant, with country music all night. There was not **** about asking someone to dance ...

Banff, Alberta, Canada deelirious... it. The snow was so fresh; it seemed as if we were the only people who had ever been through these places. We hiked for a good hour, and eventually made our way after several detours to the hot springs. Chelsea forgot her bathers and refused to hire some, so I have some photos! Then we abandoned our warmth and lethargy in a trek back down into Banff town, stopping for sustenance at a couple of ridiculously expensive chalet pubs on the way. I'm so ...
