I went for a swim at Iron Ring i.e. bailed out of the boat after it flipped and had to swim to shore while the group retreated my boat, paddle, shoes etc, then proceeded to swim across the rapid (which actually made for a fun experience). I thought about abandoning ship when we were scouting the next rapid but figured the worst that could happen my ego would take a(nother) hit after I go for another ...
