... and using bucket baths which consists of using a small basin full of water and pouring over yourself to rinse off. At many times I am unable to leave my village bc of lack of public transportation due to a corrupted system and roads being washed out. I like the idea of embracing the situation taking a 5 mile hike, using a hollowed out tree trunk as a canoe and crossing the Sabaki river (which is supposed to have hippos and crocodiles but have not seen yet) then ...

Excuses and a bit about where I am

... sovereignty of Zanzibar, this strip of land was returned to Kenya. Advertisements describing the Nyali Beach Hotel which was one of the first, luxury, truly international standard hotels in Mombasa, was described in its advertising as having "All the romance of the South Seas, with none of the desert island hardships" - you certainly couldn't say that now though!. I chatted about my trip to Kevita's brother and girlfriend, a newly arrived very pale Scottish lass. I listened with great interest to the horrifying ordeals of Petra, a United Nations IT employee.
