... is nothing here but flat land with the low scrub again. The houses here are basically mobile homes of the single and double wide variety. There are plenty of junk cars (and other stuff) in the yards and old tires holding the roof on. It looks like a very depressed area. It also seems deserted. You go through little villages and no one is around, not even a stray dog laying on a front lawn.

We head through a mountain pass and stop for some pictures. There is a ...

So its time to be back on the road and say goodbye to what has been our very comfy home at Tucson I actually got up at 6.30 am today because I was kind of excited to be on the move again and also cause I thought I'd try having a jog in the desert before the heat got going . We also bought a chile Christmas wreath for our RV.

The Pecan Groves were being harvested also, however we couldn't find any unshelled pecans yet.

Short stop and now off west to our usual first stop in SW Tucson for laundry and house cleaning before we head over to Tucson Mountain park for a week of camping in the Sonoran desert.

... silly and pruney, ate out till we exploded, then jumped in the RV and headed on down the road. T or C is another place I’d like to revisit in about 10 years and see what has come of it.

Well, another week completely wasted on the road with no good thing to show for it. Looks like we will probably be home in about two weeks, but not before we spend some time around Las Vegas (maybe for Halloween?) and Death Valley. Spooky fun!!
