In the afternoon we went downtown to see the iconic space needle and other sights including a fabulous pink metal Frank Gehry designed museum. It's a city that reminds me of Sydney with the huge harbour and fabulous scenery but also congestion and roadworks.

We got to the Kent, WA KOA and had a back-in space. We finally twisted and turned to get in and get set up. This is a big campground and seems very nice. But the internet is slow. It’s a nice space overall.
After we got settled, we went to the grocery. On the way, looking between the trees, we saw a great, hulking, giant of the snow covered mountain. It’s Rainier and it looks close enough to touch. Wow!
