... with it's iconic lifeguard towers, huge waves and lots of surfers. Further down the coast at Malibu pier is where the serious long board surfers go and hundreds of them swim out to a break and wait in turn for their time to ride the wave. ... interspersed with little surf life saving shacks (slightly more official than two flagpoles!!). We walked along the pier and played in the aquarium, which was housed at the end. It was quite chilly so we left and headed to a local pub I heard about on Urbanspoon called Simmzy's. ... as traumatizing as listening to him sing. I have this image that he was on his way to LA to audition for America's Got Talent. And if that is the case - I wholeheartedly expect to see him in the next intro where they show all the bloopers....
