South beach is renowned for it's cocktails- we went to a bar along the beach front and ordered huge 2 for 1 margaritas for 35 dollars for the 2, we only need one as after 2 we were pretty drunk! We next went to a roof top bar and then onto the a bar with good music and dance floor. I was sensible and drank water for the rest if the evening, we had a great time dancing, we were pretty much the only one's dancing though.. everyone else was standing around watching ...

After the beers I did a little more shopping and I went back to buy the shoes I put a side in another store. But I forgot where it was at ...

... our no taxi policy, jumping on the Route 150 to South Beach, Miami. $2.35 each, for a one way ticket, a bargain. It was about 30 minutes on the bus to our hotel. The temperature was 92 degrees, fine and humid. Check in done, it was time for a stroll along the beach. Lots of people on the beach but more in the various bars pumping out some phat tunes. It seems Corvettes, Porches ...

      Day 1b: Interstate ad Nauseum

A travel blog entry by splencner on Dec 28, 2012

Day 1b: Interstate ad Nauseum Today's weather was mostly clear and cold. All night into morning the temps hovered around freezing. Only in Florida did the temps climb to about 70. With the temp change between Lake City and Orlando, came waves of mist and sheets of rain. Mist of today was spent on I-65 and I-75. 1244 miles. Ugh. This is probably on the list of my longest drives in mileage and is #1 with no competition for time taken. A two month old will do that so I'm ...
