    ... compared to our last cruise (when we met our lovely LA Gang), was very comfortable. In fact, the suite was more than double the size of our previous cabin - it might be safe to say it was the size of our living room at home. We were pleasantly comfortable and had two large windows through which to enjoy the sun, seas and ocean views.

    ... we are not ones caught up in formality. We thoroughly, absolutely and completely enjoyed a meal of sausage gravy and biscuits. It was a feast for the taste buds. A true Southern meal. Mmmmmnn good!
    Somewhere in the course of the evening, Marilyn whispered to Heidi that she was going to reveal the last birthday surprise to me there. Since Heidi had helped Marilyn with some details, it seemed only fair that she see my reaction. So... we are all sitting around ...

    Today was our last full day at the beach. Jana and I enjoyed some quality pool time.

    There were some of the largest waves I've seen at this beach at any time I've been there. The crazy part was, there wasn't a storm coming in or anything - just big waves.

    Later that day, we got to watch the first Capitals pre-season game thanks to NHL Network.
