... for a taxi with another couple, Dave and Mel "M" from Manchester UK . It took a long time to find "the lotus pond attraction" but it was very colorful and fun. Later we tried to find a shopping center as shown on the map, but the driver did not speak or understand English and was frustrated, so we had him take us back to the ship. There did not seem to,be much more to do and we were happy to have a drink with our new friends afterward. I can't believe it but Jim is now ...
To our joyful surprise, our drive took us west on Rte 82 up to 8,000' south of James Ridge. What a night.... The three of us jumped in a cab and headed to a bar in Tempe, was quite quiet when we first arrived but got busier. Anthony's mate Tony (who's birthday it was) was a top lad, there was another bloke who we were chatting to, he was ok but a bloody skint flint, never went to the bar so Lee and I stuck a "I have a small wiener" sticker on his back, that was very funny. So the usual ...
