Today was the day I got to set out to see the world! The plan was to fly from Tucson to Phoenix to Heathrow to Paris and meet up with Logan to start the next wave of sight seeing. I got up, finished packing my bag and headed off to the airport. When I got to the ticket counter, the airlines said they couldn't check my bag all the way through to Paris because I had made two bookings. This was a bummer since I was going to have ...
... just how nice a neighbourhood this is, and into Encanto park, only 500m from the hostel. It's a small park but has a golf course as well, with the delineation between course and park not always clear to me. Our plans have changed. Lynn really wants to see Zion NP again, so we'll forego our stop at McDowell Mountain Regional Park this trip back and head north from Flagstaff into Utah. There's a CG north of Flagstaff that I visited, solo, last year. We may stop there at Bonito USFS CG. Time will tell.
More from down the road...later.
