... isn't.
In Bakersfield we had a few of the vans systems "serviced', not too successfully. We find the billing more efficient than the work done but we got there in the end.
Heading now for Sequoia National Park, our adventure begins.
It is cool and trying to rain which CA desperately needs and isn't getting.

... a tire shop with a group of really friendly guys (should have taken PICTURES!...damn) who couldn't have been more helpful in getting me two NEW (as in, not used) tires. If you're ever thinking about buying used tires, I'd have to make the suggestion to not waste your time. $216 later, and I'm feeling quite a bit more confident about the potential for transcontinental success. ...
