Right across the Marriott, is a huge mall which extends at length crossing 2 streets. I like this mall for it has a nice relaxing area, like a flight of steps, in the centre where i always see a good crowd. I have not yet relaxed there yet - may be some day. Another area that attracts me to this mall is the food court - which has very good options for vegetarians too. Even though I have been to this mall a couple of times, today was the first day I purchased a few things, from ...

... find a Subway to sit and have lunch. Afterwards we walked down towards Battery Park to pick up the bus again to head back up town. Due to an incident and traffic issues we were able to shoot up town and get dropped off by the Empire State building to take the lift up to the 86 floor. What an amazing view. So nice to be able to get an aerial view and see NYC.  Back down ...

Dancing like a crazy man, every now and then he would look over to us and get all wound up again – at one stage I thought he was going to come over and dance with us, but the security guys up front were already pushed to their limit I am sure! So he stayed on the other side, but we all danced the whole concert regardless, except ...

... we said we would be spinning 3 wheels on this one - impressive enough already - but to now start some freestyle blogging as well - introducing 'classification awards' (i.e. our #1 Trip and Tip) along the way - unheard of, simply unheard of - and sure to garner awards at the first annual "Cartwright world travel blog-site awards" (location - secret, voters - just the 2 of us). Well done us. [Editor’s NOTE - I have seen these diversionary ...

... I left the hotel late today using the time to book some more hotels and plan some more elements of the trip. Outside there had been the merest dusting of snow but I grabbed a picture of it so I could join in the debate re snow and the end of the world that is raging back home.

With about 7 minutes to spare I checked out and took a gentle stroll to Grand Central to get my train back up to the Guys. I read most ...
