      This was a very nice little town on the border on Connecticut and New York. It was so noce we almost stayed for the winter. The problem was that it was down in a valley so getting out of the valley with icy roads would have been a problem. During the summer there was the Houstonic River that ran along side the town. This place was beautiful during the fall. Also saw Bull's Covered Bridge. Too bad they did not have a campground ...

      ... made it this far - so we will let them off - it’s not like they were ever going to get on the Zebra they had bought just in case)After a mid-alphabet wobble - we are happy to sign off the final couplet. The adjudication for the Q and R issues has been received from a Mr Mick Heartbright and it got the all clear - so we will hand the blog piece back to the Cartwrights.

      ... I left the hotel late today using the time to book some more hotels and plan some more elements of the trip. Outside there had been the merest dusting of snow but I grabbed a picture of it so I could join in the debate re snow and the end of the world that is raging back home.
