      ... from the first few sentances, there was nothing wrong with my last blog!!!
      Unfortunately we had a bit of a disaster. Jeff either got his wallet stolen or lost it. Drivers license was in it. 2nd disaster Ann had left her license at home. Problem with hire car in Sardinia/Corsica.
      Samantha email copy of Ann's license, so we were hopeful.
      We caught the ferry from Palermo to Cagliari overnight.
      Loading was interesting paper passed through ...

      ... to get the names of 2 young women who work on the weekly slot tournaments. They were particularly helpful, welcoming and always called me by my name. Quite amazing really when you think of the number of people they encounter every cruise. Now in our third week, there are fewer and fewer entertainment events that we haven't already seen or done, so our evenings are getting shorter. Just as well, because soon it will be back to reality! ...

      ... the entrance to this little hotel is down a narrow lane cobbled with stones.

      Coming down the hill into Bosa was pretty special as the view across to the town showed the old part of town with each house painted a different colour. It is really a lovely town.

      We're not sure where we'll be stopping tomorrow night but can't wait to hit the road and discover more of Sardinia. It's certainly a beautiful place!

      ... beach, amongst small cliffs/huge rocks.

    • Outdoor nightclub with terrible music, but a shout out to me and Fipsi, welcoming us to sardinia (3 times!).
      • Teaching about 15 Sardinians how to play kings cup!
    • Terrible karaoke on the last night, but saw some traditional Sardinian dancing.

      ... myrtle. didn't like it but thought it tasted a lot like raisin wine. found a nice ceramic plate with a big mug for coffee or soup. they had a design of red coral which I liked but this one has a rooster on it which I liked better. they had marzipan too but it wasn't as tasty.
      decided that was enough shopping and went to the car and drove back going through all the places where it drops from 90kph ...
