    ... 233;s a rentrer mais ils sont quand même venus voir si tout allait bien et si on avait besoin d'aide. Ils ont été vraiment super. Today we are in Torre Grande stil on the West coast of Sardinia. We left Porto Conte yesterday, the wind picked up and was force 6 gusting at 7 nearly all the way.     We have a flight tomorrow from Sardinia to Trapani in Sicily. We have to drop off the rental at 10.00 am then catch our flight on Ryan Air at 12.10 lunchtime. So we're staying at Eduardo's place at Molentargius again. When we arrived the Pink Flamingo's were there in the estuary again striding about eating shellfish, they don't like us up close trying to get a photo, they just take off flying!     ... special folding bits hanging from them which were buried in the sand to stop them blowing away! Never seen that in NZ. I walked down to the water , a very pebbly and granite and quartz beach , a bit ******* the feet! The water was nice , just the right temperature and so clear and that amazing blue.     ... with olive oil. Next out came some small fish cakes, some crumbed and butterflied mullet as well as a hot grilled fish which we pulled apart with our forks! What a feast , we were so full and then he bought out Tiramisu to finish. It included our wine also which was a Vermentino and the whole dinner and wine cost€54.

    So good to have local knowledge about these places otherwise you're just flying blind, really good experience!

    ... and lovely white sand. It was picturesque until dark clouds rolled over with lightening and thunder and rain. Everyone started packing up and running for the cover of the restaurants, cafes and bars. It was a cool scene viewing it all from our table!!
