We realized yesterday that after 10 nights in a tent on an air mattress (and 2 nights on a dorm mattress before that), that we were more than ready for a hotel! We decided to leave Grand Teton a day early from our original plan and head south towards Colorado. The drive from Buffalo, WY to Casper, WY was an easy drive along I 25. At Casper, I then followed WY 220 and US 287 south to Rawlins, crossing the Continental Divide twice (once at 6,250 feet and the second time at 5900 feet). ... We went down town with a list of three places to check out. The first one looked empty. The second restaurant was out of business and we could not find the third. We ended up at Wendy's. Mary's Version: The thing about traveling down I-80 is that in the middle of nowhere, they let drivers, including semi-drivers, to drive at 75 miles an hour! ... Vietnam Veteran and obviously a very patriotic American! The food was really good too.

Arrived Evanston mid afternoon. Set up our motorhome in the campground, did the washing and then had a very nice Mexican meal for dinner.

191 miles (307kms) travelled today.
