... for sleigh rides late morning. Maz and I decide to walk the north part of the lake. Some brilliant scenery in every way we look. One thing that we again notice is the lack of offensive safety signs and fencing, etc. There are so many potentially dangerous places here like unfenced railway lines, gullies, lake walls, etc. I wonder if we in OZ are starting to live in a nanny state.

... problem here was that the run lasted about a minute but the magic carpet ride up took almost 5 minutes. Time for lunch and change of pace.

After lunch at the apartment we head up the City Express just up the lane from the apartment. Avoiding the black runs, we get off at mid-station for a 50 minute run to the bottom. Despite a bit of snow kissing, it was a great run, open bowls, tree trails and lumpy faces. The old knees ...

It has not stopped snowing here for over two days and everything looks different when coverd by about a metre of snow. On our sleigh ride we travel through a dump of sago snow, but most of the snow is big fat flakes. Early pasta dinner and a quiet night ...
