... 4 hour trip! The boat approached the beach then just floored it up the sand, everyone darted forwards, funny as. We hoped off the front of the boat, collected our stuff and I began wandering the streets. Found an awesome hostel but they were booked for the day so put down a deposit and found another place to stay for a night. Thank Christ they are all dorms here! I checked in with a couple of guys id met from Darwin then ...

Imagine a small island with a bitumen lane-way over 1 km long. On the beach side place restaurants with the beach sand as the floor. The food is fresh and very cheap, especially the seafood. On the other side of the lane-way is cheap ...

A travel blog entry by kennethq on Feb 16, 2014

After a quick check in and check out at the Palm Beach Hotel (no wifi!), I landed at the Green Asri Hotel, about five minutes from Senggigi town. It was absolutely baking outside, so without even checking the room or asking any questions, I checked in for three nights. In future, maybe it's best just to do it this way- this place is class! The hotel itself is only ...
