So far I have had: taro, shark, lobster, caviar, tea wine, a homemade taiwanese spirit that no one can translate and I can't spell, rice noodles, clams, oyster pancakes, lien xu, bitter melon, sashimi, red snapper, quail eggs, pigs trotters, taiwanese beer, purple sweet potato coffee, sushi, pork dumplings, steamed buns, duck eggs pickled in tea and due to a slight mis-calculation while ...

You have to pay NTD $350 to enter, which gets you two free beers and the atmosphere is always great. However, they have dancers employed to get people in the mood and to get people onto the dance floor. This all sounds pretty normal, but the girl dancers aren't actually girls! It's difficult to tell because ...

... staying outdoors was not a good choice.

We had a siesta and ventured out again at night as there was a night market right outside our hostel (The Fu Bin Hostel). We had delicious barbequed squid and papaya salad (a tad too chilli for us) and also rewarded ourselves for an exhausting 5 weeks of pounding the pavement with a much needed foot massage which was excruciating as well as therapeutic at the same ...
