We took the cable car up to tower 14, and the toboggan down from tower 6. Tower 6 also has an open chair lift up to the wall. But - I'd suggest you take the enclosed cable car up, and the chair lift down if you want to avoid the toboggan. Why? Between 14 and 6 is mostly downhill - a much easier walk than if you went the otherway around and did 6-14.

This morning we set out to explore the Forbidden City. It cost 60Yuan to get in, just over $10. The queues at the entrance weren't bad at all but inside it was very crowded, with mostly Chinese tourists. James was very excited to be there.
