Llegamos a las ˇˇˇ4.15 am!!! a Hanoi. Un coche nos estaba esperando para llevarnos al hotel.

Estamos matados y además, como es tan pronto, no tenemos la habitación preparada y tampoco podemos desayunar ...Nos tiramos en el sofá de la recepción hasta las 6.30 que es cuando pudimos desayunar.

... felt the same way to. After the initial problem, we had a great couple of weeks. We spent a few days in the city before heading to Phu Quoc Island off the Southern tip of Vietnam. We eventually arrived to our hotel intact. Our room was large with a separate sitting room (complete with enormous Plasma) and bedroom and was very comfortable. We had access to the Executive Suite so went up there before bed for a drink and snack whilst watching Serena vs Venus in the Wimbledon Final. (Hotel: Hilton Hanoi Opera Room 601).

We stopped for food at a place called "something 666" sometime during the night and we ate noodle soup for an extortionate exchange rate (we only had some kip left) - we didn't care though. So hungry (this was about 14 hours into the bus journey). We headed off again, down the highway of endless buses, lorries and a four hour trip of varying horn blasts.
