        ... dripping on the warm pool, how fun, what contrast. After a quick dip in the cold pool, I gathered all my belongings to catch the 540 pm bus to JR Toya. On the way there , the rain was pouring,once inside the bus terminal, I dried myself, pulled, the luggage from locker and hopped onto the bus . At 6 pm I arrived at JR Toya just to wait for the 637 pm JR Train to Hakodate. On the train , the stewardess brought over the lunch cart of Crab rice, delicious !!! Even ...

        ... the boat ( all cruise announcements where in japanese and my language level didn't stretch to the type of whale!) then it was over the Shiretoko pass to Rausu then on south along the coastline to Nemuro and Nossapu cape where I had an interesting sight of the locals bringing seaweed ashore and laying it out to dry, not often you get a traffic blockage due to seaweed!         I was distracted by my phone for two hours last night before I went to sleep. 8:30 am, no plan yet, but I knew I wanted to do a day trip some where. Sawan said he was in, so we settled on Noboribetsu. He needed to buy a JR East pass. We left at 11:00 am for Sapporo Station to get his pass, snacks, and the 12:13 pm JR.         Niseko...favourite snow town to date...ahead of Queenstown, Mt Hotham, Mt Buller, Whistler, Marmot Basin and Sunshine Village...still a few more to check out though. Actually that's a lie...Banff is my favourite snow town but Niseko is my favourite ski field. We stayed for four nights and it snowed everyday, perfect conditions on the mountain.
