... had soba and grilled river trout and was treated to cookies by the super nice staff while I waited for the bus back to Oboke. Then There was a boat ride and a mega walk up a hill with creepy ghost statues, chatty oba sans that gave me candy and I even saw a tanuki! Then onsen at the hotel and back for a giant vegan dinner. Now that I am just getting my bearings and remembering more Japanese it is time to go. ...

I think I passed the first Nanshou.. I am now back in Tokushima. I left here only 4 days ago but it feels like so much longer. On this evening the two cans of Asahi beer I bought at Circle K taste so good. I bloody earned a cold beer or two. After all this is not only a pilgrimage, it is my holiday too!! ...

... images with the blog is through little miss iPhone. But I find the photos too dull since she is a bit old and tired, even after tweaks in in-phone-Photoshop the quality still sucks a bit. So I'm using a stitch app to get larger panoramic images. A little more interesting to look at. Funny angles n stuff. But sometimes they end up a bit weird in the stitching. But that I can live with. However I have no idea how they look on a big screen. On my phone they are ace. Just so you know.. ...
