... my dirty, and oh so stinky, clothes in the tub. After my visit to the temple I strolled down to the beach where turtles come to lie their eggs.. But no turtles today.. What a shame. I have seen on das Internet that the sun will be absent a couple more days. No beach camping for me just yet then.. Also I think the aircon just died. It's going to be a long night!! If only I had a cold beer.. Oh wait, there's a vending machine in the hall way. Ha! Japan is great! Cheers! ...

... to temple 12 so it would be my shelter for the night instead of the tent. And mr mountain hiker bid his farewell. I spent the night in the hut with another henro and also two men that provided food and drink o-settai. And when I say provided I mean forcibly making you eat and drink more than you could ever handle. The two men decided to stay the night too. What a team they were. ... It was time to have a look at Tokushima city. I went to the foyer to drop of my key and the very chatty and giggling middle-aged man behind the desk invited me out for dinner so he could show me his beloved city. I am quite sure his real agenda is to propose to me! Eak better run. ;0) After dodging the marriage-bullet by using a mixture of English, Japanese and my favourite language - pure Nonsensish, I made my way outside. Surely I could find a cafe in the shopping arcades ...

... much they make here. For breakfast, the bread we ate she had made too! They told me that their farm is completely organic as well.

During dinner, they showed me photos from their trip to China on the TV and after dinner, I shared photos from China and home. After a while, they said, "ok, thank you. Time for bed." They had had enough. It was already late – like 10 pm!

I hope I have a better night sleep tonight! Oof. ...

The next thing on my travel list was a whirlpool observation from the Great Naruto Bridge. That is, I wanted to see whirlpools from a different viewpoint. I got lost a bit on my way, so it took long time to get to the entrance of the observation passage.
