Beppu is actually kind of a boring city. I went there for the onsens and it a good location to travel from when going to Kurokawa onsen (see day 18). Beppu didn't quite live up to my expectations but they were probably too high. I stayed in a Ryokan - traditional Japanese accommodation - and while it was nice it was a bit run down. ... His daughter Eri and Matsumotos, Auntie Yoshie's brother and sister in law. Dinner back at the hotel and we head to go bowling. On the way to bowling we stop at the Kiss Fish pool.
