    ... be Golden Week in Japan – a week where several national holidays all fall around the same time. Combined with a weekend in the middle, it means everyone has time off, and hotels get booked up fast.

    ... seat your naked self upon and shower and thoroughly clean yourself before entering the water. Shampoo and rinse are provided. The stools are those little things with legs only about three inches high - a bit of a challenge.

    ... shinjuku again(one of the craziest places on earth) to get to the airport. It's full of pachinko slot arcade halls, anime characters, flashing lights and a whole lot of noise! It was horrifying to see the scale of industrialisation in Toyko. Didn't manage to capture it in a photo as the buildings and roads and bridges and factories go on for miles and miles.     On a lighter note, this is Hagi a town filled with pottery and orange groves. A place to sooth the soul with beauty. Bizarrely there was a gigantic modern building dedicated to ceramics in this quiet little island town. Incredible professional pottery in the museum and shops overflowing with more pots.
