The complex is comprised by the Grand Hyatt Hotel that is surrounded by 4 levels of shops in 3 buildings. In the centre area there is a huge fountain that displays a music and water art show every hour. It was quite spectacular and entertaining to watch. We had an ice cream at Canal City before ...

After lunch we wandered through the village taking some time to enjoy a beautiful Japanese garden outside of the restaurant, and an old European style home that belonged to an aristocratic family. We finished off, what was a long day, by riding the loop bus around the town before getting the tram (trolley car) back to our stop and walking back to our hotel.

Hope the sun keeps shining. We had our jumpers off for the first time in weeks!

    A truly great day.

... Also wonderful to experience the generous Japanese hospitality. We then headed to shinjuku, a station that 3 million people pass through every day. A shock to the system to be back in tokyo that's for sure. We found shinjuku goen park to find the famed cherry blossoms. The Cherry blossoms were stunning and the overcrowding was insane! An intriguing cultural phenomena. We ...
