I woke up from our bender feeling amazing. That saki is fabulous, no hangover, no nausea, just a clear head with which to contemplate the catastrophic night before. However, it wasn't until I turned onto R127 that the vistas stood out. This was a fair bit of up and down riding but the views both out into the ocean looking at Shizuoka City and into the mountains were terrific. Plus, the roads were relatively quiet save the ...

We spent Christmas day in Shizuoka because my dad has a friend who has lived there for a long time.
