    ... traffic into Tokyo. The journey which took us 2 hours out ended up taking us 5 hours back. There was a consolation though, as this meant we encountered people coming into the station from Shinjuku bars.     After lunch, I turned up R18 which increased gradually for a few kms before the hairpin turns started. The higher I rode, the more the views opened up. However, it wasn't until I turned onto R127 that the vistas stood out. This was a fair bit of up and down riding but the views both out into the ocean looking at Shizuoka City and into the mountains were terrific. Plus, the roads were relatively quiet save the ...
