    ... way but I haven't been disappointed. That's part of the adventure - just going to a restaurant or an inn by chance and hoping for the best and usually being pleasantly surprised.

    It was a drizzly day when I got up this morning so I waited for the drizzle to ease up and went for a short ride. I stopped at the site of Japan's oldest university, the Ashikaga School, which was founded in the 1400's. I toured the grounds for about 30 minutes before continuing on my way. I barely got out of the city into the countryside when the drizzle started up again so I decided to turn back.
