... the "retro bus" all the way to the last station at Kawaguchiko
Shizen Seikatsu-kan (Natural Living Center). I was treated with great views, but just was not in the right position to see Mt. Fuji and the sun setting at the same time. What an amazing night, it was really an adventure!!!!!!

He walks a lot in his Crocs, but the holes kept getting rocks in them. There was also so much dirt. The 2 year old couldn't resist stopping to play in it. Mike was getting impatient, so in the pack Will went. Somehow we then veered off the trail and wound up on the construction road. This thrilled Will, but confused us when we got to a ...

Left our capsule hostel at 6am to get a direct bus to the start of our trail, Yoshida 5th Station (about 2.5 hours south west of Tokyo. Started hiking at 10am Surprised at how much 'climbing' was required rather than hiking. This is definitely not a trek you just decide to do there and then. Made it to our mountain hut for the night called Fujisan hotel before any other guests arrived. The temperature was much colder than what we've been used to. Bunk beds in the mountain hut were like ...
