... to me. So I had to trudge through snow and sleet for over a kilometre to get some food. And on the way I got splashed with ice water by 3 different passing vehicles. Awesome. Today I headed to mt fuji. It was a 4 and a half hour trip, setting off at 6.30 am and arriving by 11am at my hostel. Having postponed my trip to fuji because of bad weather 3 days ago, I was hoping for a clear day for the best views. After that, we went to the other side of Kawasaki that we rarely venture into, to the Tokyu Hands Department store. It is much smaller than the one in Shinjuku. Joseph managed to buy a bottle of eau de cologne as he had forgotten to bring his from home. And not before time too. He was starting to pong a little.

Our journey of course started from Yamate line, from Gotanda to Shinshuku, where we took the central line to Ootsuki, big moon. It's about one hour ride, passing the west Tokyo, places that I'd been to earlier this year in Jan, like Mita (three eagles) 吉祥寺and places that often appear in detective novels (國分). This is the suburban of Tokyo.
At Ootsuki, we had to transfer to the yoshida (吉田)line, and we almost missed it ...
... and cool slowly down. have a nap and recharge batteries. We are the only guests and have all the attention of the personell.
The onsen we can enjoy for the first time together and this is a perfect cure for our muscles to recover. There is even a refridgerator with beer available.
In our Yukata we are seated in the dining room and enjoy a great dinner and we take another bath before we retire.
What a nice treat after such a nice trip
