... drove around to several spots of the track and shot some great pictures and videos. There was an open track day for motorcyclists today. By now it was 11:05 am. I still had to gas up the car, and return it by 12:00 pm. I shot into the hotel gift shop, didn't buy anything, then ripped out of there. It's been such an authentic experience that we decide we won't check Tripadvisor ever again for the next 12 days!

We follow the lakeshore back to the town and we continue walking to visit another main attraction, Mt. Tenjo. Tourists normally go up by Ropeway, but we don't! So we climb all the way up into a lovely forest and after 30 minutes we reach the summit with a great lookout point on Mt Fuji and all the valley ...

... clear day and Fujisan could be seen in all its glory, typically as I was leaving.... How lucky am I?...After the bus ride back It was quite odd to be back amongst the skyscrapers, weaving roads and tunnels to then get of the bus back into the hustle and bustle of central Tokyo station, a stark contrast the the quiet areas I'd been in recently. So after heading to the travel centre and purchasing my new JR East pass it was time to head for the hills ...
