    We went to Tokyo Station at a little past 8am. Considering that this is the 50th Anniversary of the shinkansen and the 100th Anniversary of Tokyo Station, there is virtually no official celebration. Owen decided to do his own thing. He had a JR person give us a small talk on the history of the station and a short tour of the place. We were given some information on the new shinkansens coming into service.

    I must say the air quality here is amazing ... I am actually coughing up stuff in my lungs from China... yuck!
    It is so quiet and peaceful here. You don't really here a lot of noise. The people here seem very friendly and are always saying thank you and excuse me.

    ... so nice, quiet, and calm here. The city is in the country side, which makes it all the more appealing to me!
    I have noticed that people here a lot more quieter and polite... and I feel like a loud mouth baboon talking and walking down the street!

    The past ten days have been filled with work, work, and more work. A two show day felt like a break, there was about 10 hours after we got home from work before we had to get back on the bus to go back and do it again and again. But the crowds here have made it all doable. We have been greeted with open hearts and applause. ...
