    We checked out of our hotel in Hiroshima and took a street car to the bullet train to Fukuoka.
    Arriving to the city, we did the mistake of taking the green bus to the hotel. It took it 75 minutes to travel 5 km. We wanted to kill the driver. :)

    Walked to the Fukuoka Castle Ruins and Ohori park as well. Quite a long hike but passed through the main central area (Tenjin) on the way so "saw the town". Not so amazing although the Canal Shopping Arcade was OK (next to the Tenjin area). It was built in the mid 1990's and is a bit futuristic even now. Has an impressive fountain too. Like all the other malls and arcades there ...
