      she told me she is just on her way to meet some friends in a german berivian bar . we walked what must have been at least 35 mins further than where we origionally was, to find this berivian beer house ..

      That was quite a long flight! The time difference has me confused about the length of the flight, but here in Germany it is just before noon on April 14th. I had a good time, in spite of the long plane ride. I watched Interstellar for part of it, read my Bill Nye book, and reflected a bit. And when we landed, I got my first passport stamp!       ... more of Latvia for another time, and this is turning into much more of a see-the-capitals-and-dash trip than I had originally intended. But that's okay; I wanted / needed to be with my family these past few days. And if all goes well, I should hopefully be able to get the second half of my trip in more or less as planned. Which is still pretty damn good.
