... eat. Now that sounds more like it. I ordered bacon, mushroom & cheese omelette with avocado & sour cream & chives with a potatoe waffle. Andy went for a steak and mushroom, cheese melt sandwich & fries and it came with beef watery gravy (stock for dipping sandwich in) I poured it on my potatoe to give it a beefy kick. I must let up on my carb restrictions, Andy's sandwich was the best tasting I'd ever had, all dripping with succulent meat fat juices ...

Leaving Walmart, Joplin this morning we travelled along Route 66 through Missouri and in to Kansas. There is only 13 miles of R66 in Kansas, so it doesn't take us long to drive through this corner of the state. Along the way we drive through Galena where we caught up with Mater (from the Cars Movie) and some of his friends, then on to Riverton, over the Rainbow Arch bridge, where we stopped for photos, then on to Baxter Springs, the place which inspired the town of Radiator Springs. ...

... I was simply trying to do my best. It just goes to show that the band members of Def Leppard are of a different breed. They care very much about those around them and do everything they can to make you feel welcome. I truly could not have asked for a better group of guys (Band and crew) to be a part of. I am now a member of the Def Leppard family.

Since our main activity of today was to be this evening at the Hard Rock Casino, we slept in and took our time with breakfast and reading the news on our iPads.
