We had little bit of a battle with the sat Nav that wanted us to take the 101 inland directly to LA whilst we wanted to take the scenic route along the coast on Highway 1. After asking us repeatedly to turn right / left every second block she eventually gave up and let us have our way. ...

... as it's such a lush day. There are some crazy characters down there. Just outside of muscle beach (where arnie was spotted) stood an oiled up black pensioner with a boom box standing in red pants just jamming along. He had probably just been to the herbal medicines shop where it's legal to buy weed if you have such conditions as sleep deprivation or back ache.
