        ... with a dust cap that would fit on. We finally found one, but we saw at our next stop that it had promptly fallen off again.Then Roger battled extremely high winds again as we continued on to Surprise. We hit darkness in the middle of construction in the mountainous area around Flagstaff/Sedona, and Roger was exhausted by the time we hugged Gil & Lois around 8 p.m.

        We are here in Surprise until Friday, when we head off to Sedona.

        ... We checked out the stalls to see about souvenirs. They all sure have amazing artwork on their tables. We continued our drive to Grand Canyon Village to find our lodging (Maswik Lodge) and saw we'd arrived just in time to witness sunset... And what a beauty that is to watch. I found myself very small witnessing this majestic natural scene in front of me. Tomorrow we'll go see more as there isn't much to do here once it turns dark. I'm eager to see it ...

        ... there was a park dinner and the pool room was filled with music performers! So on to Scuttlebuttes for a small Pizza for supper. At least the daytime weather had been great. I need to find plane tickets for Boston in May and June. Also shuttle to airport for Hawaii!
