    ... is situated high up and you almost need a four wheel drive to reach it. The views were fabulous and the Gris-Ling (Pinot Gris and Reisling blend) was delicious. We bought a tasting then bought a bottle to savoir as we enjoyed the views.     ... locks were removed when bonneville dam was built and now nothing there. Went across Bridge of the Gods, into Washington, turned tound and drove back. Bridge is very high and quite cool - made of metal 'sheets' of lots of hexagons which means you can see through what you are driving on - all the way to the river below!     ... was still such a beautiful spot and we are glad we made the effort to drop by. These falls are the highest in Oregon and the second highest year round waterfall in the US The waterfall plummets 620 feet over two steps from the bottom of Larch mountain and are made even more enchanting by the Benson footbridge (1914) which arches 100 feet above the lower falls.     ... enjoyed Mom's singing so much that she danced along...the girl has got the beat! Also, right next door to our hotel...a Starbucks, a Chipotle, and a PF Changs. We found better stuff though.
