... we visited the nearby Grant Park in Portland so the kids could run and play. Grant Park was the setting for many scenes in children's books by Beverly Cleary and is home to the Beverly Cleary Sculpture Garden for Children. Claire and Oriah recognized Ribsy right away and then the other characters at the splash park - they were so excited! ...

The street food is wild in Portland…pizza, thai noodles, Vietnamese wraps, gyros, flavored popcorns, all sorts of great ...

... time for more spins and loved how fast the boat was. He definitely enjoyed the way back more as it was more about racing the other boats, splashing eveyone with water, and spinning the boat around.....Harlan had a repeat of the trip there only there was a lot more water/spinning thus more crying. We got back and saw that it was already almost 2pm and we still had to drive out to Portland so we jumped in the car still wet from ...

Today started out very groggy, as it was raining and cloudy. But as the day progressed, the sun came out. My first task was bird chores. We did not do the chores for the main egg laying hens, because we moved their coops to a new area and had to make sure that they were all accounted for. Once we moved them, we ...
