... s birthday celebrations and it couldn't have turned out better. I met up with Drew downtown at the Portland Saturday Markets along with 2 other couch surfers, one of which Emilia(Finland babe!) was going to be staying with me at the house as well. We decided to go get Voodoo Donuts which is apparently the worlds greatest tasting donuts and if the line was anything to go by the claims were certainly backed up! We were in line waiting ...

We say our goodbyes, and drive off, though we do agree to meet up again tomorrow morning at the airport. We drive off, and I decide to take a different way home this time, and go along a bit of a scenic route. ... It was such a hot day though walking around, but Portland don’t usually get nice weather so again I lucked out on my one whole day in Portland. After lunch, I relaxed back at the guesthouse and had dinner a few hours later so it was a really relaxing stay overall.

The next morning I was headed to San Francisco, but not to stay. I was going to wine country!! So I was very excited for that!

Hope you enjoyed my time in Portland,

... enjoyed Mom's singing so much that she danced along...the girl has got the beat! Also, right next door to our hotel...a Starbucks, a Chipotle, and a PF Changs. We found better stuff though. Footnote: I think it is worth mentioning that the unicorn burger from the Angry Unicorn is served on a glazed Voodoo Doughnut. http://youtu.be/SvVzMb-IIvU around 2:20 they talk about it. No, I didn't eat here...I just thought it was worth ...
